Moving FormArtist to another computer
Your FormArtist license entitles you to use FormArtist on a single computer. To move FormArtist from one computer to another, please take the following steps:
On the existing installation
- Make a backup of all forms you want to move to the new installation (file | backup\restore | create new backup - select the forms)
- Export the deployment profile you have set up (under the MORE button you will find the export option, select it)
- Release the license key
- Uninstall the software if you wish
Then on the new PC
- Install the software (Download link)
- Register the license key
- Import your deployment profile
- Restore your forms from the FBK file created
Did not uninstall.
If you have a situation where you did not release your FormArtist key and your computer is not available (ie. A hard drive crash), your FormArtist key may be reset by providing proof of purchase and paying a $25 support fee. You may do so through the support form by selecting FormArtist/Quask from the product choices and following the instructions. Support form.
