As you design your form, a database is automatically created for you in the background on your local PC. Data, when retrieved from the web server, is automatically stored in this database for analysis or export. |

Data is collected on the server
When the respondent completes a form, the response data is stored in a file on the server. This XML file grows as data is submitted to it.
Download data to your PC
FormArtist retrieves response data that has been collected on the server to your PC. This can be done manually, or if you have the Professional edition, it can be done automatically. The data is then stored in FormArtist's local database where you can view, export or report. |
