Quask Launches FormArtist v3.0 London, UK, 10th October 2003 Quask, a leading provider of web-based survey and forms software, announced today the release of a major new version, v3.0, of its FormArtist range of products. FormArtist is a desktop software package that enables web developers, sales and marketing staff, CRM and human resources professionals to rapidly create and publish web and e-mail based forms, surveys, e-brochures and opinion polls, without any technical knowledge or programming abilities. FormArtist provides businesses with a highly cost-effective method of quickly and easily gathering critical market intelligence to support and improve business decision making processes. Creating forms with FormArtist is extremely straightforward due to its powerpoint like WYSIWYG and drag-and-drop interface, and its pre-defined style sheets. This enables forms and surveys to be created in a matter of minutes, allowing users to benefit from hugely reduced production times. FormArtist incorporates a comprehensive library of data collection objects, picture grids and form design features (including its patent pending emoticons) allowing users to create highly attractive, visually rich forms that encourage high response rates. There are no restrictions to the number of surveys, forms or responses, and multi-page, high speed forms can be created which don't require web re-loading between pages or plug-ins to display the forms. A series of easy to follow wizards, guide users through the process of designing forms, deploying them to a web server, sending out e-mail notifications to respondents, and analyzing the resulting data. Surveys can be published to any web server, though Quask provides web hosting facilities if required, and forms can be deployed by e-mail, link to a ‘pop-up' window or embedded into a company's web page. Completed forms can also be sent back to individual email accounts. No server database is required and all that is needed to get up and running on FormArtist is a PC, an internet connection and access to a web server. Intelligence can be built into surveys and forms using either a simple dialog-driven script manager or by writing JavaScript directly to interact with the form. This allows dynamic form behavior such as page-skipping, custom validations and other logic to be incorporated. Optional question response and page sequence randomization ensure that FormArtist meets marketing research standards for eliminating sample bias. Data, stored in FormArtist's local database, is easily exported to Excel to produce reports containing statistics, tables, bar charts, graphs etc. Alternatively, FormArtist supports HTML, CSV, SPSS, Snap, ODBC and other formats for data analysis. The FormArtist range of products comprises FormArtist Free Edition, FormArtist Standard ($199), FormArtist Professional ($899) and FormArtist Enterprise (prices available on request). A trial version of the Professional edition can also be downloaded from the Quask website at www.quask.com. FormArtist Professional and Enterprise editions integrate with databases and third party CRM software (ACT!, GoldMine and Microsoft CRM) so, for example, sales response forms can be fed directly into a company's database for rapid response to enquiries. The Enterprise edition features advanced server-side components based on .NET and SQL-Server, and is used by organizations requiring a developer interface and good integration of the data collected from FormArtist forms with their own internal systems.
